Privacy Policy
Find My Bus is made by Calecute Technologies (OPC) Private Limited ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Find My Bus Android app and its website. For India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the data fiduciary for the information described here. Contact: info@calecutech.com.
In short
- Riders: we collect nothing. No account, and your own location is never collected.
- Drivers: the phone's location is shared only between tapping Start and Stop, with a notification showing the whole time.
- Bus owners: contact details and the buses and routes you add.
- No ads. No selling of data. No third-party tracking or analytics.
1. What we collect

Not collected: rider location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, or advertising IDs. Location is never collected in the background except while a driver is actively sharing.
2. Permissions
- Precise location (drivers only): to share the bus's position after tapping Start.
- Foreground service (location): to keep sharing with the screen off, with a visible notification, until Stop.
- Notifications: to show that sharing notification.
3. Who can see it
A bus's latest position, registration number, name, route, stops and operator name are shown publicly to riders on the map. Owner contact details, waitlist entries and driver links are never shown publicly.
Data is stored with our service providers, who process it only to run Find My Bus: Supabase (database) and Vercel (website hosting). Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
4. How long we keep it
- Only the latest location of each bus is stored; each new position replaces the last.
- Removing a bus deletes it and its location immediately.
- Owner and waitlist details are kept until you ask us to delete them.
5. Your rights and deletion
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. See Delete your account, or email info@calecutech.com. We act on requests within 30 days.
6. Children
Find My Bus is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
