Muhurtham Clock (com.calecutech.muhurthamclock) · Effective 10 October 2026

In short

What the app sends

To draw the clock, the app asks our server for the panchangam of one place and one day. The request contains the town you picked from the app's own list (its name and map coordinates) and the date and time to compute. It does not contain your name, an account, a device identifier or your phone's position.

What we keep

Nothing that identifies you. The server computes the answer and returns it. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary web-server logs (IP address, time, request path) for a short period for security and reliability; we do not combine them with any other data or use them to profile anyone.

What stays on your phone

Your chosen town, your language choice and the last panchangam you loaded are stored on the device so the clock can open offline. Uninstalling the app removes them. Nothing is backed up to our servers.

Purchases

Muhurtham Clock is sold through Google Play (and later the App Store). The store processes the payment under its own terms; we receive no card or bank details, only the store's confirmation that the app was bought.

Children

The app is intended for adults. It collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about users of this app, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. If you write to us, we keep your email only as long as needed to answer. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may still raise any concern with us at the address below.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
